Phil and Jessica were married on a perfect day, June 13th 2009. The setting was spectacular with deep lush greens flowing into mountainous landscapes. The setting was tucked into the Cascade Foothills with beauty in every direction. Everyone was busy preparing for the big day but so was the sky. The weather was tumultuous and the clouds were brewing. Then came a short lived thunderstorm which was soon replaced with perfect weather for the rest of their day. A little research about rain on your wedding day uncovered this below.

Is rain bad luck on your wedding day? No! Its good luck! It comes from several cultures mainly from the Hindu with the idea that a wet knot is harder to untie. Since marriage is often referred to as tying the knot. Rain was also a symbol of fertility to agricultural societies, since rain restored and maintained the wellness of crops. Crops were peoples main source of stability and income so it was thought to guarantee a long happy marriage!

Then they did it, they became as one and you could see the genuine happiness in their eyes. Forever together in a new life for you guys. Keep a look out as I bet you will see these two moving fast outdoors, on either bikes, skis or a foot and stay close cause you don't want to miss their fabulousness ( is that a word? ). Rain or shine this couple is having a wonderful life together!
