Icicle Creek Kayak day 6

On July 9th 2010 after an early morning shoot with Marco we followed it up with an afternoon shoot with Marco Collela and Darren Albright. I think these guys ran the run in about 40 minutes and looked super smooth as usual.

Wenatchee River Tumwater Canyon Kayak

On July 18th 2010 I was able to follow a few kayakers down the white water strewn Tumwater Canyon in the world class Wenatchee River. These seasoned river pros made quick and easy work of The Wall, Chaos, P.O.W. and Exit Drop. It was also a treat to watch these guys drop off the dam below Lake Yolanda.

Castle Rock Climbing Leavenworth Day 2

I was lucky enough to catch Super Dave Morales during one of his morning workouts on Castle Rock. His hour long tour consisted of Smut to Brass Balls then a traverse to Catapult which he down climbed. Then he re-climbed Catapult with a finish on The Bone. He just added the upside down foot cam bat hang to his routine. After Lower Castle was finished he cruised Scary Canary and finished via a down climb of Saber. After that it was down the trail where Dave traded in the rock shoes for a kayak paddle and shredded the Wenatchee River Via the Tumwater Canyon. Thanks for the tour on the rock and the river Dave!

Wenatchee River Rafting

The Wenatchee River offers up class 3-4 rapids one after another for those seeking high adventure. It also serves up the standard rafting trip with class 2-3 for those with a milder taste to their adventure. The Wenatchee also offers up a scenic family float that anyone can enjoy. It's an amazing river in a spectacular setting and has something for everyone. Here are a few images of the high adventure rafting the lower end of Tumwater Canyon.
